Burberry - Creative Operations

Brief - Help a team of 140+ in house creatives improve how they develop content, create brand experiences and launch campaigns.

Response:

  • Created a new role tasked with owning a specific brand moment and collaborating across all teams to launch the campaign.

  • Coached a team of 10 direct reports that were all elevated to senior positions.

  • Helped to change the campaign planning process to start earlier and get more creative input earlier in the process.

  • This resulted in more innovation across brand experiences and better retention rates for the team.

  • Led the hiring process to expand the studio by 25%

  • Redesigned the photography studio process to achieve higher engagement with e-commerce imagery and reduce cost.

Nike - Voice of the Consumer

Brief - Bring the voice of the consumer to the website. Use the style and opinions of real consumers to help shoppers make more informed decisions on Nike.com

Response :

  • Sourced, onboarded, and operationalized Curalate as the new User Generated Content platform for Nike.com. I set up the platform so we could source imagery of real people (not models) from Instagram and use it on the Nike Product Details Page.

  • I set up a parallel process using Curalate to source imagery for campaigns lacking funds for photo shoots.

  • Source, onboarded, and operationalized TurnTo as the new reviews platform for Nike.com.

  • I set up a parallel process using TurnTo to source reviews from Nike partners that sold the same product to increase the review count quickly.

  • This led to an increase in conversion for products with both imagery and high review count.

Canon - Irista

Brief - Create an image management platform so that Canon can extend its relationship with the consumer after the purchase of the camera.

Response:

  • I led a team of creatives and developers to create the first cloud-based image platform in the UK. The platform was positioned for mid to high-level photographers. It helped them keep track of all the imagery they posted across social platforms and had no limit to the file size they could store (global first). We did the branding, design, and development of the platform.

FIBA - 3X3 App

Brief - Help FIBA to make a case with the Olympic Council that 3X3 basketball should be an Olympic sport.

Response:

  • I led a team of designers and developers that created an app for 3X3 players to organize informal games in their neighborhood. The app then gave FIBA the data needed to validate that 3X3 was played in more countries and at a higher volume than what was estimated by the Olympic Council.

ASOS

Brief - Evolve the publish process for all content on ASOS.com. The process relied on a team of devs to post all content updates on the site.

Response:

  • I led a team of developers to integrate a new content management platform (SiteCore) for ASOS.com. The project led to a large reduction in time to publish. This meant that ASOS could publish fresh content for an audience that associated the brand with newness.
